Lips Of Poison

by Samantha   Jan 14, 2012

All my words rushing through my head, swirling in those stinging buzzing ways. Pain in every movement, blood pours from my wrist. I lost you, just my luck. My smile increases as I make another cut. Another wound I will repair, another scar with a story. another sheet to wash when I wake up in the morning. The daggers cut through my throat, and out spills everything I've kept contained. His ring tone plays as I'm about to cut the vein. Your words come out in a fast blur. I cannot hear, i only picture you with her. The girl you have chosen, will not choose you. And when you decide to play your own game, you'll lose. She is not a prize, nor am I just a player. Yet you played me and I'm left with a straight razor. So many tears have hit the floor, so much alcohol that I have poured. Another young life gone to waste, Take your own medicine, you won't like the taste. The poison on the lips I've kissed, I didn't go through all of this just to get dissed. It's too late, our memories are the past. A suicide note beside me, and I bleed out from the gash.
