Letter 49 "Starry Eyed"

by Marcus blake   Jan 15, 2012

Patient eyes blurred, the world rises above the nonsense
Your words, your voice, your smile, your face, tempt me
They are things I am not familiar with
And though I'm still alive, I feel as if I'm not living
A heart is a silent thing, for only when I am with you do I feel its beat
Clashing of emotions and crippled feelings are shown all throughout this world
I wanna know what its like to dream again, in your eyes I see a way toward that
Fate brought you may way, pain showed me that you like many things wouldn't last
Love taught me that gambling a heart is worth the risk, you were worth the risk
Knowing that life spins on for only so long, like a song things do end
Cherishing every little thing about you, loving but never having it's true
Passion burns the fuel that pumps inside, I wanna feel this way till the day I die
The Only thing I want is you, you on my mind...
