When It's Done

by Marino Vilano   Jan 21, 2012

You never know when life will end,
When you must say goodbye to a friend.
The time will come for us to go,
Life is a story waiting to unfold.

This is a world full of life,
Instead of peace we always fight.
We cry more than we find ourselves smiling,
Its time to live happy, we are slowly dying.

I chose to live life to the best of my ability,
Lived it with no regrets, that was my destiny.
Helped out others who needed it desperately,
Loved all my friends, most important my family.

Life itself is like driving on the highway,
People live it like if its the fast lane.
We must all learn to slow down,
Appreciate this life that we own.

Each day that passes is another day closer,
As scary as it seems, we aren't getting younger.
This life on earth was just a delay,
Our final stop is the Perling Gates.

Live this life the best you can,
Be the best woman, or the best man.
You never know when your time will come,
Because once your gone, that's when it's all done.
