Beautiful Disaster-First Love

This beautiful disaster is shown upon my heart,
It's been there since the begining, right from the start.

You showed me how to love and to hold on tight,
But you were never there, when I needed you at night.

I know the reasons why and truly they are valid,
I couldnt see through my emotions of a sad song ballad.

Things were going great, until that one mistake,
I couldnt believe the words..no more could my heart take.

Trust is like paper, once it's crumbled then that's it,
I was so angry at you, that I started treating you like s h i t.

For all of this I am sorry, but I just wish that you could see,
All of this love I have is centered on you and me.

So sad to hear, that you have decided to move on,
After 3 years together, boy it didnt take you very long.

I want to wish you the best, because I want you to be happy,
I wish I could say all of this without sounding sappy.

I still love you, much more than you could know,
Because I gave you my heart, such a long time ago.

More than anything, I wish you would give it back,
Feeling like I cant move on, is like my heart being under attack.

Until these strings of my heart connecting you and i are severed...
