It's that time again, the sun goes down.
Curtains are drawn, in a quiet town.

First love sings, into the depths of my heart.
Too scared to reveal, it was love from the start.

I love you, such simple words.
Yet so complex, when put together or heard.

Smiles and laughter, fill the room.
Happiness at last, that ends too soon.

Tears fall, words are used.
A broken promise, a heart that's bruised.

In the shadows, a love that's been lost.
Torn to pieces, tattered and tossed.

A single tear drop, falls every night.
A drop of sorrow, a tunnel with no light.

Hearts beating, memories fade.
Now we both have to live, in a bed that's been made.
