Trust issues

She wants to stay
But she got to go
Love isn't enough
trust is gone
yet she was here
when she says she loves him
telling him lies
or is she lying to me
no real way to tell
if you ask me it's all a shame
a mistake years ago
held over my head
was just a kid back then
and now the tables are turned
contradicting words she speaks
I have changed, but she lost who she is.

    Unfortunately, love isn't enough without trust and you proved that with the question of wondering if she's lying. Quite a tragic poem that definitely discusses the phases that love undergoes without trust and things we have to deal with.
