X-o-x-Torn to Try-x-o-X

Elementary, so feeble this crude
foundation, attempts nonetheless.
Efforts made mark this once
sacred location.

Ruled by love the day ne'er smells
times this fair. Lace-bound photos,
clouds close blindingly this heart
that must tear.

Embers now, no longer careless this
pictorial of past. Stakes long marked
off hope remain mere shadows the
memorial now cast.
