My Kryptonite

by Miss Lonely Teacher   Jan 26, 2012

I'll never let it show
that you're my kryptonite
and I fear the day you'll go.
So please, hold me tonight
as we dance and spin so slow
in the quickly dimming light.

Another day comes to a close
and I'm forced to say goodbye.
A wind that gently blows
sweeps me fom the clouds up high
and the caws of the passing crows
are the ending to our night.

...and then...you slip away.
and... i slip too.
As we go our seperate ways
I know there's nothing i can do...
