You ran over me

by ezllee swine   Jan 27, 2012

Half my life I have spent, searching for someone like you, seemed endless to me. I never saw what I had until I lost it. I pushed you away, I pushed you again, I pushed you too far, and you fell in the end. I look at the mirror and ask, "why am I sad?" the mirror says nothing. but it reflects all the hate, regret, pain, and an endless love.

I fell to the ground, I felt the coldness it brings. unlike before, you have caught me in every single fall. oh, how I felt your warmth. warmth like no other. now all I feel is the pavements lifeless texture.
