Friends

I finally realized that it wasn’t me causing myself pain
It was you
All of you
You treated me like I was a monster
When really you were the monsters
You acted like it was all my fault
When really were you to blame
You told me I was evil
When really you are evil for making me feel this way.
I thought you were my friends
But I guess I was wrong
Real friends wouldn’t abandon me through tough times
Real friends know that when I say something I mean it.
Real friends know that sometimes it’s better to help silently.
But you guys,
You didn’t treat me with respect.
You didn’t treat me as if I were one of you.
But now that I know what you are like
I don’t want to be like one of you
Because that would make me evil
And a monster
And I’m not like that
I’m a good person
And a good friend.

    another "5" i love this poem. it shows how you feel towards all your supposed friends taht turned their backs on you when you needed someone the most.. and it also shows that you know that they arent really good friends, and they aren't worth your tears hun. i really hope we can become good friends, i could never act the way they did to you. best of luck with everything hun!
