Perfect strangers

by UndeadGrace   Feb 2, 2012

We didnt really know each other
At first, things were a little weird
But we became perfect strangers

It all started out as a visit to the gym
I didn't know what to expect
I had no idea you'll be so precious as a gem

As soon as we met
We immediately clicked
I knew your someone
That I won't be able to forget
If only you can stay for awhile
If not, I would run a 100 miles
Just so I can see that smile

Your attitude brought my spirit up
To a whole new altitude
You saw the good in me
And made me feel like a somebody
While deep inside I was feeling like a nobody

That's why I would of felt so dumb
To let a girl like you pass me by
My heart would of felt so numb
Knowing a girl like you
Only comes once in a life time
I just had to make you mine

Although your my complete opposite
The night when we went ice skating
That special night you said
"yes"
As we were holding hands
I promise you'll never regret
When we first kissed
We felt perfect bliss

Never would of thought
As a little boy growing up
I would know her as my neighbor
As a little boy who didn't like this girl
I would one day grow up to say "I love her"
As little kids that didn't get along
We become perfect strangers.

Interesting, the title caught my attention. Not because everything it was in capital letters but because it sounds catchy.

Based on what I understood, you fell in love with your neighbor.
