DAMN...

I worked on it with passion,

putting on those words in poetic fashion..

but it went on to be an embarrassing gig,

DAMN!! he wrote my song even before i did...

Happy, elated, joyous and proud,

I boasted about my composition so loud..

wishing it would be an instant hit,

should have googled it first - oh shit!!!!

felt trapped in an airtight container although there wasn't a lid,

I became so excited and lost my sense,

thought i would be appreciated by lot of fans..

but it turned out to be a different story,

what should have been mine was somebody else's glory...

Yes I lost my "fame's maiden bid",

PS: Well this one have a story behind it..I wrote a composition a year back sitting in a classroom in one of my notebooks..today while cleaning up my room I found that notebook and read the composition to my friends and they made mockery of me because there existed a song with the same Title...and hence i got the inspiration fr dis 1...
