Note 7

"From your attitude I would have thought you'd to be an optimist" you said. "I never imagined you could be a pessimist to your bones." In my opinion it is hard to differentiate between pessimism and optimism, after one has seen through the world. I can't simply say which is better or worse... I'm simply myself. You said "I preferred pessimist", it seemed that you had decided I was one, and wanted me to agree. "Only pessimist have a tolerant attitude. Take Buddha. Buddha accepted that man's life is one great tribulation."

I disagreed. Buddha's pessimism and optimism were equally expressed by his silence. He heard, saw, and experienced everything, but did not speak of it. I don't think there is a writer in the world who call himself a true pessimist or true optimist. I never did say that out loud... That describes a writer to a "T"... were all a bunch of cowards.. some of us sell our emotions for money.
