Torn

by Inspriwriter   Feb 10, 2012

You can't blame me for this.
Can't blame me for the hurt,
or the pain or the suffering.

You've done this to yourself.
By sneaking around,the lying.
You can only blame yourself.

I trusted you.
I believed you,
but you tore that away.

Hush,don't cry.
You've done this to yourself.

Thought provoking poem. It seems as if there is only contempt for the person, until the line "Hush, don't cry", which is almost gentle. I could totally be reading way to much into it, but I liked it either way.
