A Friend

No one can know
The sadness I feel
But all of my friends
To me they appeal

I never have met them
Yet they reach out you see
for when my heart breaks
They are there for me.

My sadness won't win
But each year it won't end
But it is nice to know
Out there, there's a friend.

    A very elegant, and heartfelt piece about friendship... I really love the simplistic style in this piece and the flow with the rhyme scheme is very pretty... well done~
