Taste Test

by Sammy Nicole   Feb 14, 2012

I search for your blood, your blood I want to taste.
I hear the pounding of your veins in which I now have to face.
Hearing the blood flowing, my mouth starts to water,
Your neck looks so perfect; I can't help myself but go farther.

Once I sink my teeth into your flesh,
It's like a sweet rush, something I refuse to now take back.
A firework has exploded into my mouth; your blood which I treasure has seemed to run out.
Being that you were my first victim,
I'd like to take this slow.
I'll leave what I have and try to let go.

The blood gives me strength like no other,
This has to be a secret, it needs to be covered.
How will I ever begin to live this down?
As I hear my final heartbeat pound.
My skin seems to heal whenever scratched,
This might be something that will forever last.

I can hear you breathe and your heart which seems at its highest peak,
I look into your eyes that are filled with pleasure,
I take it all in and to my surprise, lift you like a feather.
Your blood, like a waterfall draining into my mouth,
Has only given me the strength and the power to get out.

Out like the wind on a nice summer day,
You can't always see me but my presence will forever stay.
You think I've disappeared but it's all so clear,
The test has just begun...the game is very near.
And it will always be your only fear.
