As cold as you

by Broken girl143   Feb 14, 2012

When you say i love you it feels as cold as ice.
It falls flat and shaders into a million peasis.
Like a shower of ice cristuls.
You never really mean i love you.
The words linger on my skin leaving gooes bumps.
That never really go away.
Just coming on stronger.
With ever i love you gets colder.
Sinking to the core of my bones, but not to my heart.
I hope i never become as cold as you.
I don't want to say 'I Love you' with ice for words.

Very strong poem!! I love the line "The words linger on my skin leaving gooes bumps" it really brings to reality the unreciprocated love that haunts so many!! Awesome job!! and good luck, jope you can move forward! Be strong!!
