An Eternal Memory

by fujimo   Feb 22, 2012

I could barely see you through my tears
Holding you in my arms
As you life dripped to the ground
There was no sound, no light, no air
There was just you, that was all I could see
All I could feel, all I could smell
As your eyes went vacant
And a death rattle took your last breath
My life ended without me dieing
As time passed, you came to me
In my dreams
And I cursed the morning's light
That always took you from me again
When I finally decided
There was no point to
Living without a life
In a drunken stupor
You came to me
I felt your warm breath on my neck
I opened my eyes to see your face
Bathed in a golden light
Tears streaming down your face
As I leaned forward to pull the trigger
