Consequences

by Roronoa Zoro   Mar 7, 2012

I appreciated our friendship we had
You helped me become the person I am today
But you are now someone I do not recognise,
As much as I hate to leave
I cant bare to stay your friend
You were the one i shared everything with
You never made me feel ashamed.
Nothing I did would make you look down on me,
I wish you could say the same.
Everyone has their limits,
But you pushed mine to my braking point
I've hung on with a grip so tight,
But my hands blistered and I had to let go.
I cannot waste any more time helping you,
When you just dont seem to care.
You lost me
Yet you still do not notice I exist
Every action has a reaction,
Every betrayal has a revenge
Your actions are creating consequences
Consequences of losing people who care about you the most
When that day comes when your alone do not come crawling back
Because I will not be here to pick you up anymore

What I loved about this piece was how true it was. You had some amazing lines in this poem. My favorite two being

    "Every action has a reaction,
    Every betrayal has a revenge"

    Excellent

Yeah, I agree. With every action there is a reaction. But I also disagree on a few parts but I prefer to keep that to myself. Everyone has their reasons and well things simply didn't work out. Some times it is better to create some distance and if that's what's better in this case then there is no other option. As far as the poem, it's a good write.

This is such a truthful poem. Friendships should go both ways, loyalty on both sides with out judgement.
    Good write my friend..
