Joy And Sorrow

by Mason Robb   Mar 8, 2012

Owners adrift in a world of distraction
Aching hearts whisper songs of sorrow.
Unheard of voices, apparitions of humanity,
Behind our minds they call to one another;
Caged nightingales singing repressed beauty.

Brother, sister, see the spark within my eye.
Ignite an inferno of passion with a single thought
Send it forwards to the kingdom of actions
Remind yourself if sorrow encompasses your sunsets
To make action and declare of heart and soul!

Today this world began, born anew, for you and me.
The forces of fate conspire as our guide;
the path, the walker, and the light.
So sail the restless seas of your mind;
And decide upon your wish to find

For decisions are to the future as keys are to doors.
So hold no permanence of course until meet your lord.
Till' you know in confidence
Of joys and sorrows life constitutes.

Your melancholic eyes invoked a thoughtful brew.
Offspring as this scribble, I give to you.
