Your Rosario

by Yakari Gabriel   Mar 8, 2012

I'll always remember
you,with those
coffee brown eyes
that were always so
full, full of love for me.

I never knew
how it was that
I became the light
of your life, you'd
describe me as a queen-

when I was nothing
but another victim
of the low life
we were born into..

I never wore a
talisman, but you
made me feel
like the luckiest
girl on earth..

you fought against
the toughest
of currents for me
to follow the right path,
but I was bitter
with life

the hunger
I had for revenge,
grew thicker
with the years

you know
I never meant to
disappoint you.

but I jumped
from girl to woman
in a lonely night in June.

..and even though
you left, I carry with
me the legacy of your love.

a love created not
only by blood but also
by will.

you'll always be
the one with the most audacity,
the most courageous
and the best big brother..

thank you for loving me,
Sincerely,

your Rosario.

----

this poem is about the relationship Rosario had with her big brother Jhon Fernando,
she always said he was the only man who truly loved her, and he was her only true brother thus they had the same mom, the same dad..
because her mother had more children..
I can't help it..I'm obsessed.
