Olwin have missed your work. It is up to each of us as individuals to recover and be the person we want to be and that God wants us to be. No one else can do this. Well done.

Olwin this was a poem that lifted my spirits, and made me go yesss that's so true. Your wording was soft and simple but the meaning was loud and clear.

Olwin its so good to read your poem after along time!

Recovery means realising who you are,

^Such a true statement. Its when one realizes who she/he is then everything else will start to fall in place which will make recovery faster!

Overiding negative thoughts, setting your heart free!

^You are right, if we live with negative thoughts and attitude nothing will go right and we will not go ahead with anything. Once negativity is thrown away that is when the heart is free to move on..uplifting line!

    Victory is what you want...
Each day you breath, don't say can't!
Realise it in yourself, you hold the key,
You can be the better person you want to be!

^A very inspiring acrostic you have written. Its like feeding hope for the reader..liked the read.
Take care and keep penning :)
