Best Friends

by remimic   Mar 13, 2012

I'm tired
of your
griping,
moaning,
whining,
belly-aching
for things you
don't have.

I'm tired
of your
lies,
selfishness,
and broken
promises

Take a step back.
Look at your home
with a stranger's eye.

Nice house.
Happy family.
Cool things.
Money.

Take a step back.
Look at us
with an observer's eye.

Fake smiles.
Fights.
Unfair deals.
Tears.

Now I'm done.
Cutting off all ties.
Your number is outta my phone
de-friended on Facebook.
Now you're just another face
in the street,
the classroom,
the crowd

My rant is about done now,
not that you'll ever hear it.
You're not my best friend
Seems you never really were.

Have a nice life.
