Pieces of bangles

by Muran   Mar 15, 2012

Pieces of bangles-
When I opened my eyes in the hospital bed,
Stella, you came as an angel in front of me,
Years have gone, after we left the school,
Finally an accident brought me in front of you,
in this desert,
I sunk in tears when I came to know,
Your blood is dripping into my veins,
Years back, when I held your hands in the school,
Your glass bangles were broken,
Your tender hand had scars and
You run away with the blooded hand,
I picked all those pieces of bangles,
And gave you as a gift when we left the school,
Time has removed all those scars from your hands,
I can see that when you wipe my tears from my eyes,
Stella, you are an angel,
just born to rescue me in this desert,
Otherwise I would have died being an abandoned gipsy,
When I discharged, Stella gave me a box,
She told not to open it until I reach home,
When I opened the box,
my heart crushed into pieces,
It was that old pieces of bangles.
