Devil's Angel

by Hannah   Mar 15, 2012

I was niave
I truly believed
I don't know why
I thought history had made me wise
But I fell for your lies

You weren't a gentleman
You couldn't even be classed as a man
The hurt you made
The words you twisted
How long I believed I was the monster

But you are the devil's angel
You made your stories of me
Your twisted dark lies
You took my life and emptied it

You took my friends
Took my family
Took all I had until I had no choice
But be locked away as yours

But I've found my strength
I have nothing left
But I will find it all again
I will build a life
I will leave you behind

My only wish is no other girl falls into your traps
Because you devil's angel
Are a demon tried in silver
But you are black and cold

I'm free from you at last
And I won't be back
