Keep the Faith

by Richard Smith   Mar 18, 2012

I pray every day for a better life
i say it's gonna get better but its like I'm never right

make it better Christ, I'm on both of my knees
it's no hope so niggas smokin' the trees

over the cheese i lost both of my mans
that's why there's toasters in both of my hands, damn

stopped sellin coke and purp, tryin to go to work
i go to the range more than i go to church

my whole mentality's twisted, but it's reality isn't it
i ain't tryin to be fatality listed

yo brethren gettin dough is like goin to heaven
and goin to jail like goin to hell

but before i go in the grave I'll go in the cell
just send me some furlough in the mail

but i got God on my side so i'm beatin the case
this life crazy but I'm keepin the faith.
