My Munchkin

by OHgreenman   Mar 20, 2012

How can I say thank you
For being who you are?
You're so down to Earth
I'm freakishly bizarre.

Your emotions run freely
Mine are protected inside
Decisions, answers come quickly
A while for me to decide.

Spur of the moment festivities
A plan written for the day
Living life to the fullest
Wishing mine away.

Strangely this works well for us
One of life's little mysteries
Relationship of balance
Making future history.

I've learned a lot from you
Especially about the heart
Share the love within
A new day, a new start.

Your patience I appreciate
Your soul I adore
Your inner and outer beauty
Is what I fell for.

Thank you my Munchkin
For being with me
From my heart to yours
I love you -
Greenie

* This poem goes out to a special woman who has made a difference in my life & I continue to appreciate & love more and more deeply on a daily basis. To my wonderful girlfriend Angie, love you sweetie.

    My Dearest Greenie,

Well if I had known when you text me about a new poem, that it would make me cry, I would not have read it while at work... now I sit here blubbering at my desk...

I thank the "Powers That Be" for bringing us together at a time when we both needed someone with patience and understanding to help each other heal, never knowing that it was their plan to have these two souls fall into such a magical, spiritual, lasting love...

Thank you for these precious and beautiful words... it's so "US"

And thank you for loving me as you do...

    I Love You

    Forever,
    Your Munchkin
