Kissing your heart with my soul

by Muran   Mar 23, 2012

I owed her a treat,
For a milestone victory in life,
Being a conservative family,
It was not easy to take her out for a dinner,
Though we know each other for years,
We seldom met, talked very little,
Never opened each other,
But we both know, we are bonded each other,
With strong layers of love and passion,
The invisible ropes tied us from miles away,
Though we lived in two different continents,
We felt, we are together every moment of life.
Our circumstances never allowed us,
to say our family that we are in love.
During my holiday, finally we managed,
permission for a dinner with time bound return.
We both were in our best dress,
No need to say a gifted couple,
Everyone wish to bless and jealous,
I am sure a lightning must have gone through,
Her parent's hearts, when they saw us together,
By knowing this is our first and last chance in life,
We went to the best hotel in the city,
We have been royally received and guided to a hall,
We saw many couples in the hall,
The posters given us the glimpse that,
They are holding the best couple's competition,
We tried to explain we are not a part of it,
The organizer looked at us and said,
You both look fabulous and great,
try your luck, be a part of the fun,
all other couples joined his chorus,
There was no choice, so we become a part,
Nevertheless to say, we were winning every round,
We picked up intuition round 100%,
The organizer came to us and asked,
How long have you been practicing this?
there is a magic connection between you both.
The competition forced us to switch off the phone,
And we forgot to advise her parents what's going on,
Behind a celebrity couples we came first runner ups,
With huge prizes, diamond rings, watches, everything,
Suddenly we become celebrities,
Press, flashes, video, live TV, interviews,
We had no words, and as a part of the final function,
We had to exchange ring and follow marriage rituals,
It was past midnight, we took all prizes and gifts,
And hotel's limousine took us back to her home,
We were speechless; we know a volcano is waiting for us,
We walked together to the door,
Her parents were there at the door,
Before we say a word, her mother said,
We know everything; they are repeating the show,
As soon as she got inside her house,
They shut the door in front of me,
I left all prizes and gifts in front of their door,
I flew back next day to my working place,
When I finish this poem,
I am rolling the ring she wore me,
I believe we are still connected
With invisible ropes of love and passion...
