Stronger

It is a heartbreaking feeling, when a loved one chooses to be absent and ignore the ones who love them the most.... your feelings have been written with a powerful, written voice.... thank you for sharing with all of us....

This poem is fill with so many emotions within it few lines. Often we find ourselves wandering why we should be good to someone that have hurt us in the past, but I always remind myself that behave like they have would cause me to become what I hate.

This is such a powerful poem. I can see what you're trying to say here. I believe that you are writing this about your father. I am thinking though, is he now a father to someone else as well as you? Maybe you have step siblings? I only say this because of the line "They say you were a good father to them but we disagree" (I assume when you mean we you mean both you and your mother"

Either way a very touching sad poem but I do like how the ending becomes stronger and more on a positive note.
