Suffering

by eugene yeboah   Mar 28, 2012

Your pain is the elixir by which the physician that is your soul prescribes when you attempt to transgress your mortality, it is the antidote by which your human arrogance is alleviated, the reminder of ones own fleeting existence and the frailty one must exhibit before their reality. Therefore, do not rebuke your physician or his elixir. Accept it and drink it in peace, humility and tranquility. Pain is the necessary price we pay to remind us that we are alive. Therefore, show no impudence toward it, or cowardice. Embrace it for it may not be what you want but it is what we all need.
