Trusty Steed

by Mimed Lovette   Apr 10, 2012

Trusty steed, sweet gem of life,
grant me a river into which I shall dive.
Wash me off the wilde beast inside,
so solace and peace may then reside.

Trusty steed, aged giver with price,
paint me a dream laced, streaked with hope.
Within which I can sing, dance and rope
those angels who encircle the wise.

Trusty steed, my heart in disguise,
worry not where the future lies.
(The present holds the sole lasting key)
The end is never near, everywhere it's life you'll see.
