Passed Moments

by Marcus blake   Apr 13, 2012

Things seem to always change and like an old song the good and the bad remain

While like a bomb exploding and with out knowing, in that brief moment I lost you

So as the cold nights where liquor confronted me, as the sky watched me die alone

Thinking back to the days when there was light in my eyes, till violence took that away

I still remember the kiss shared that night with the moon out, and like a memory I hold dear I'll never forget you

For all the secrets I hid, while they never amounted to anything, the day you left is forever fresh in my mind

Though the precious things in my life have passed or been forgotten, I still remember...

Like a love letter floating in the wind as it fell from my pocket, the words remain forever in my heart

As the days passed on though all my moments I could barley remember your name but I'll always remember your face
