Humans & Earth

by Uliana   Apr 13, 2012

Earth is feeling a little bit heavy today
The seven billionth child is on its way

The Earth is uncomfortable, itchy and tired
She thinks: How much longer? But she stays quiet

Like a mother, she's patient, wise and complete
But humans are careless, they continue to breed

Selfishly spreading, polluting the sphere
Soon, by this rate, we should disappear

Depleting resources, but wanting just more
Gaining more profit by fabricating wars

Earth is alive, but she can't be heard
Humans don't listen to signs, only words

Only some children think when they play
What is the Earth trying to say?
