Take A Look

Take a long look into my eyes
Is anyone out there
That will see passed my fake smiles?
People say they understand
But did they really listen?
The pain feels like
It just happaned yesterday
Take one more look if you dare
And tell me what you see
I close myself off
And shut down my emotions
To avoid more pain
If people left my life
I wouldnt chase after them
If people truely care
They would of stayed
There is always a lie in believe
Over in lover
And end in friendship

    I can so relate to this! I love this poem because I know that people will feel like that and have been feeling like that, a poem that is easy to feel.

    I love the whole people not understanding and seeing passed our fake smiles. I don't think many people can. Sometimes I wonder myself who's smile other than mine is also fake. I wonder what others are going through as well.
