Goodbye Sis

by remimic   Apr 25, 2012

Another fight, another scream
Despite what they think, we aren't a team

I know who you are, I know you'll be there,
but I'm so sick of wearing you around like underwear!

I look at your face and I don't see family,
I only see my very worst enemy

My mantra has gone from "Just stay calm"
to "Just a while until I've gone"

I don't stay in my room because I'm depressed
It's the only place I'm not impossibly stressed!

Family, friends, school, and chores,
I can only wish my life was a bore!

I count the days on my calendar as they pass slowly by
until I can kiss this cruddy place goodbye

I'm tired, I'm done, the end is too near,
so please listen to this, Sister dear

Sayanora! Audios! Au revior!
Consider this poem my memoir!

My bags are packed, my things boxed up,
I won't be back soon to catch up

So, Goodbye Sis,
Good Riddance.
