I didn't know at first but then I realized that you were always there for me
You helped me when I was down and picked me up when I fell
I took you for granted and now you're gone
You were a true friend
I wish I had held tighter

    Sometimes we cannot help a friendship that is drifting apart. People change and naturally, friendships do too. This is a really nice poem and I am sure that lots of people who have drifted away from their friends can relate to this.

    It really nice I like it. I to lost a friend a good friend but I realized she was there for me and picked me up when I was down and on the other hand she did not realize I was there when she need me the most but stuff happens for a reason sometime we wish it did not have to but it does:/I just wished she realize and we would still be friends always an forever

      I feel the same way towards my friend but it is true that everything happens for a reason but I'd like to know what that reason happens to be.
