A School Happening

It's time for bio class,
and she'll still in the bathroom with the pocket knife.
she has to do what she has to do,
even if it means hurting her own life.

she wants to hurt other people,
but restrains herself because of her friend.
so instead, she inflicts her own life,
and she doesn't mind, even if it means the end.

she looks at the bathroom ceiling
as she slides the blade across her wrist.
she closes her eyes and smiles,
remembering the time of Christmas' midst.

she opens her eyes and stares at her hand.
watching the blood drop to the floor.
she puts away the knife,
and lets go of the pain that she just bore.

she walks up the stair to her class,
and smiles politely at the teacher in front.
and takes her seat, taking out her books,
and takes the notes that she doesn't want.

after class, she packs away
and waits for the next class to start.
then the girl comes and smiles deviously,
and in that moment, she wished she had a sharp dart.

she turns on her angry face,
and walks away leaving them to talk.
and heads off to her other friend
but then the teacher comes in with her fancy walk.

she heads back over to her seat
and is glad that it is still visible and there,
and listen attentively through the class
until it ends and the front of the class is once more bare.

finally, last period of the day comes
and she tries to get through the class
without thinking about other topics in her head,
but all her thoughts are a big jumbled mass.

she hears the school bell ring
and smiles with glee.
for another day of torture is over
and she is free to flee.
