Every Man for Himself

by symonelouise27   Apr 29, 2012

Reach out
And feel the four walls
That surround ourselves
As we hear the yells and harsh calls.

Turn around
And feel the warmth of the air
That threatens our souls
Into turmoil and despair.

Move one step
And hear the crack
Of your new neighbours
Can't tell if it's their skull or back.

Speak out
And realize that you are all alone
In this new place of loneliness
With sorrow, you try to condone.
