Red Lights and Road Blocks

by Kitty Kurse   Apr 29, 2012

Sitting in the back seat of this car,
This ride called life can take me very far.
As I look out these windows I see many others going by,
They seem like they are going faster than the clouds in the sky,
but can anyone tell me why?
Can anyone tell me why I'm hitting all these road blocks?
Why all these red lights seem like they are taking their time,
Why aren't they turning green already?
Now even all my red lights are stopping those behind me,
Close friends, strangers, even family.
Maybe because this ride is steady,
But why does it hurt so much?
