Wake Up and Realize

I'm sick of crying day and night,
For remembering something you did.

You hurt me,
You fed me lies,
You crushed my heart,
Left it out in the freezing rain,
And I treated yours like it was diamonds .

You were someone different,
Someone unique and cute.

Then I realized,
You were the biggest jerk I have ever met.

You asked me out ,
On a sunny day,
May 17,2010,
And I said yes, just to go with it.

I was so in love,
You changed ,
You were so different in every way...

Then suddenly,
I had the chance to strike back at you,
And I took it.

I know I've hurt you,
But you've got to understand you've hurt me more.

I've changed,
And I want to be happy with you,
But the past is eating me alive.

2 weeks until we've been going out for 2 years.
And a year and a half was wasted on nothing but pure ignorance and self hatred.

Wake Up And Realize that someone loves you,
And that someone ,
Is me.
