Society is what we live in
Society is controlling us
Although we may not think it

Society is like a hypnotist
Trying to make us think of stuff
Trying to make us be things that we are not
Is it not our choice to be who we are
Not just some clones
Like Jim and Jones

Also, people think just because they have nice clothes they are cool?
If so I'd rather look like a fool
I mean don't get me wrong
Those clothes are nice
I'm just sayin', I'd spend it on rice

It really sickens me seeing people starve themselves
Just to get the perfect body
But people should just learn the fact
That you are beautiful the way you are
And not the ugly person who you think you are

But at the end of the day
We are still the same because
People say we must change society
But we can't
Why?
Because we have to change ourselves
Because we are society
