Come here sometimes just to simply get away from it all
Sit with my back faced on the tree while the tears fall
As beautiful as the world appears I'm in such an ugly place
Feel bit under the weather as the mask comes off my face
Try to breathe but can't catch much air because of the pain
Exalt the strength from this tree which has seen much rain
It stands tall and wise as it gives life to the air of the living
I'm broken and taken from by those who offers little giving
Come here at times to share with a tree piece of my mind
It gives me meaning for I am sure it too cries sometimes
