Your choice of words has always captivated me and this dint dissapoint either..you are an amazing writer..the imagery was just so wonderful and the fact that it was that short but with so much meaning was just creativity at its best

An interesting poem about April and its mood!

In April, larks lurk
under the murk of my bed-
till their stark tunes are

^Reading this stanza painted an image of a lazy April slowly awakening to the song of the morning :) Liked it!

dirked by a moon spark.
I gleam to April, like a
star amid its sharks.

^It feels like one wants to hang onto the memories of April and not let go while lying under the moon; and the last line, "star amid its sharks" made me feel like you don't want to wake up to reality which is the shark...well at least that is what I felt while reading it.

All in all an interesting write with vivid images for the reader to think about..good write!

Nature! I love the imagery it creates in my eyes, so surreal and pristine. My forte is penning nature poems. So i purposely went looking for a nature piece, to feast my thoughts on. I really love the idea this triggered in me. It might be different from your source of inspiration but this is my thought. Seems April reminds you of an event, somewhat lovable and whenever you think of that it consumes you soothingly. Though there's a hint of little gloom that has i feel to it all.

That's just what i thought of with this. I'll say it again i just loved the imagery, so serene and beautifull. You're really a prolific writer with great potentials in poetry. Keep churning amazing works and the sky will not only be an ascend point. Rather you'll soar into the farthest azure of the beyond in a fligh with 'larks'..
