Misery

Everyone is in their own personal hell,
Everyone needs someone to tell.
Life sucks and you just want to die,
Wishing things would change as you sit and cry.
Why was i born, who really cares?
I'm so miserable, it just is'nt fair.
I'm so broken inside,
There's no place safe for me to hide.
I hate the way things are.
Why does life have to be so hard?
I try to be good,
But it is'nt easy when you're so misunderstood.
Life is a pain,
It's like I'm going insane.
With no one here for me,
It's hard not to imagine how easy death would be.
Would things be better?
Will my heart be put back together?
I can't live this way anymore,
I just want to walk right out that door.
No one would miss me anyway,
So why should I stay?

    I agree with NotAdvised; in this world you pretty much are alone, however that needs to make you stronger, show everyone how strong you are, that you can withstand any obstacle that is thrown your way. keep writing, it is a great stress reliever and lets you get your feelings off your chest. anyway, great poem. 5/5

    I don't understand why but I feel as if each and every one of your poems remind me of Breaking Benjamin's song "Dear Agony". Despite knowing the origins of the feelings of this poem, as displayed in your profile description, I really enjoy the touch of reality in feeling sadness because it comes from real experiences and through your work these feelings are evoked in the readers. A job well done.

    Finally a few words of real-life advice.
    The key to success is to be yourself. Don't let anyone stop you from living your dreams. Do what you do for a reason, stay true to yourself. If you ever need don't be afraid to call for help, but don't be surprised if it doesn't come because in this world you're not the only one. Keep pushing forward; don't let your talents run away.
