Russian Roulette

by Not Enough   May 10, 2012

She was the gun of Russian roulette possessing a deadly plot,
The destructive bullet slaughtering with just a single shot.
Tormenting all of the players who decided to take the chance,
But you'll understand her better if you take another glance.

She didn't mean any harm, it's not her fault you wanted to use her,
You're the one who took the chance, you even pulled the trigger.
She never asked you to start the game or to pick up the gun,
She simply wanted to protect the world, not use her weapon for fun.

The evil within the weapon made her fight and fret,
She saw the world as an enemy, and the people her greatest threat,
She only let her glass tears fall and shatter in the night,
When nobody could hear the crash or see the broken sight.

She didn't want people to be afraid of who it was that she portrayed,
She only wanted to protect the world and bring the people aid.
It's not her fault for being viewed as such an evil piece,
She only wanted to help stop war and bring her land peace.

Society was who to blame for making her this way,
With all the hate and evil in the world she never had a say.
Let's play the game where no one wins, let's fight to the death,
Here is the girl that was the gun of the deadly Russian roulette.

There is no reason for you to redo it.
You did an amazing job. Constructive
critism not easy, but well done
