The Break up

by Marcus blake   May 18, 2012

I see my destiny like players see the cards on the table, thinkin life's a game but I'm never winning
And when you lose you lose it all I learned a lot from this world, nothing good in life will ever last forever
When the dream dies my soul fly's higher than a rocket
Breaking past the clouds hoping to see my heaven
She said "If love could heal the soul I'd give my only heart to you"
Looking in her eyes as I believed the fable
Heartfelt memories don't work anymore
Not that they every did, yet I needed them more
And when she poured her heart out, her soul got tored out
Screaming out loud till the yell got drowned out
I had a look on my face that made her mad as she slapped me
Now she's crying so I asked her what's your tragedy?
She said "Love doesn't live her anymore I'm, closing my heart up"
Damn I wish instead of all this shit you coulda just said you wanna break up
