A World So Grim

by Roronoa Zoro   May 19, 2012

This life flows on with or without our views
As the dark things surround around the world each day
I start to wonder why the change is yet to start
We struggle on for the means of survival
Our goals seam to endless for our time line
Our causes mean less and less eachday that passes by
Where are we to stand in a world torn
Shattered with grief and loss eachday
Yet we still stand staggering on
We march together or alone
The sins washed away with time
The impact less and less as lives go on
We fight even if there is no fight to be fought
As we wage war on one another
Or punish ourselves eachday
What is to become of a world so torn
Our hopes and dreams go on
With another passing day
Even when all hope is lost
We care for those who hate
We try to fix those ones in need of help
Yet so ready we are the people of the world
We are many races in one
Our cause stands atop us all
We fight for the next day
Yet a world so grey so grim
Torn of our own personal gain
We strive onward
For our children of our tomorrow
Without cause without choice
For them we are torn today
Fight for the future my children
Fight for the days we all lost
Strive onward our children
Away from all our sins
For this is a world so grim
