Wolf and the Moon

by Marquesas   Jun 2, 2012

My love, why does she torture me so?
So beautiful is she, it takes just a glance
To calm the most destructive of storms
Her voice, sweet harmony,
Soothes the most savage beast
Eyes deep and peaceful,
I tend to loose myself in them
Hair long and flowing
Reminiscent of a majestic waterfall
Graceful is her every stride,
A gazelle prancing across fields of high grass
Her kindness is genuine and unconditional
She is so wonderful in so many ways
Glowing radiantly as the moon
And like the moon, she is always out of reach
Am I not deserving of her touch? Her love?
Or is mine own inadequate?
So howl will I, a wolf yearning for the moon
