Creed of the Beast

by Marquesas   Jun 2, 2012

Within is a Beast, sleeping, waiting, and watching
To get to it, I must dig deep, looking inside myself
I must prove myself worthy to the beast
Paying a toll of blood, sweat, and tears
In return, It will rid me of the pain, the fatigue, and the weakness
Putting in it's place a new strength, speed, and endurance
Replacing the logic of my human mind with an ancient instinct
Feeling the burn of Primal Rage in my mind and heart
It will be unlike anything I have ever experienced
However, I will not fight it, I will not fear it
I shall embrace it, and let it consume me
I use it in any manner I see fit, removing all obstacles in my way
Destroying all of my adversaries, unleashing a destructive force
For the Beast no longer resides inside of me
I have become the beast
