Voices Don't Change with Seasons

by KayKay   Jun 6, 2012

The voices don't change with the seasons
And I'm upset that I don't know the reasons.

It is so hot, the unbearable summer heat
People eat ice cream all day, cold and sweet.
The bees will buzz and the birds shall fly
The sun will shine in the light, blue sky.
The flowers bloom and and no one gets rain,
I hear all the voices while no one else sees pain...

Then the leaves fall and squirrels bury acorns
It gets warm in the mid-day and cold in the morn.
At night we need light blankets and turn off the A.C.
But know one else hears the voices, except for me...

After autumn the snow shall gently fall during night
At first it's so very soft and pretty, cool and light
It's glistens so softly, at dark in the moonlight,
And know one but me hears the voices at night...

The snow slowly melts away creating puddles on streets
Children will splash them with boots covering their feet.
The gentle spring rain shall come, reviving the grass
But the voices don't change much like the spring forecasts...

Then comes summer packed with more heat and droughts
But then again, the voices will still ever penetrate my thoughts.

The voices and the pain don't change with the seasons,
And I will still, ever wish, that my mind knew the reasons.

    I enjoyed reading, well penned
    talking about voices, not changing
with the season, our mind won't let us know
    the reason
